Privacy Notice

This notice explains what personal data the 11PlusIQ app collects, why, who can see it, how long it's kept, and how to request a copy or deletion of your data.

What we collect

• Account details: your name, an optional email address, and a password (stored as a secure hash, never in plain text).
• Optionally, a profile photo you upload, or an emoji avatar.
• Exam activity: which questions you were asked, your answers, scores, and topic-by-topic performance over time.
• Progress data derived from the above: streaks, badges, spaced-repetition review schedule, and difficulty level per topic.
• If you register via a tutor/school invite code, your account is linked to that tutor/school.

Why we collect it

• To run exams and mark your answers.
• To track your progress and build practice exams targeted at your weak topics.
• To email you your results, if you provide an email address and this is enabled.
• To let a linked tutor/school view your progress and generate reports, if you registered with an invite code.

Who can see your data

• You, when logged into your own account.
• The app administrator, who can access all accounts to operate and support the service.
• Your tutor/school, only if you registered using their invite code — they can view your progress and download/print reports, but cannot see your password or edit your account.
• We do not sell or share your data with any other third party.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active. Accounts with no completed exam for an extended period (typically 12 months or more) may be reviewed and deleted. You can request deletion at any time — see below.

Your rights

• Access / export: download a copy of everything stored about your account from your Profile page.
• Erasure: permanently delete your account and all associated data from your Profile page, or by asking the admin/your tutor to do this for you.
• Correction: update your name, email, or password at any time from your Profile page.
